Who I Am & What I Do

Iggy Rodriguez has had an extensive career in sports and entertainment across a number of businesses.  Formerly in partnerships at the Los Angeles Dodgers and Detroit Pistons, he ran sales strategy and business development. With his experience negotiating with teams, leagues and athletes, he later became the Head of Partnerships at Therabody.

He was also a part of two successful start-ups that offered VIP sports & entertainment access in Kapow (acquired by Vista Capital) and Velocity Black (acquired by Capital One). Iggy was responsible for negotiating agreements with sports & entertainment venues and luxury goods providers to deliver unique access via a marketplace to consumers.

Prior to those ventures he received his EMBA from the University of Chicago, Booth where he is currently a mentor.

Iggy is now the Senior Director of business development at OneTeam Partners, which acts as the commercial arm of the NFLPA, MLBA, MLSPA and more. He is responsible for negotiating licensing agreements between brands/companies who are looking to leverage athlete name, image, and likeness.

In his spare time, Iggy volunteers as a foster for dogs with Wags and Walks in Los Angeles, along with being a mentor and global ambassador for the Special Olympics.
